Thursday: 7:45pm to 10pm

Q: What equipment is needed for Cheyenne HEMA?
A: When new students start out, we only require you show up in comfortable athletic attire and that you wear groin protection (cup or pelvic plate).
For safety reasons, participants are required to wear appropriate protective gear, such as a fencing mask, gloves, torso protection, gorget, and elbow pads. A variety of weapons are used, including swords, daggers, and staffs. We have limited loaner gear available for new students. All equipment should be approved by a Cheyenne HEMA instructor before use.
